Serving
As followers of Jesus, a part of our worship is to serve one another. Jesus himself modelled this perfectly:
“the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve.”
We encourage everyone to get involved in serving in the local church. There's so many opportunities and so many good things to get involved with. The flip side to this, is that we know that church activities could take over your calendar, and we don't want that. We ask our church members to commit to serving in one team, and only to consider more if their diary allows. We serve out of a desire to be like Jesus and to have the same love and passion for one another that He did, which led to Him laying down His life for each and every one of us.
